Welcome to the page for the RSGB (Radio Society of Great Britain),

The Radio Society of Great Britain (RSGB) is the national membership organisation for amateur radio enthusiasts. The society was first founded in 1913 and incorporated in 1926. Their patron is HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

The Society is dedicated to the development of the science and practice of amateur radio. It works to increase awareness and understanding of amateur radio and to make the hobby accessible to everyone.

Region 9 covers London north of the Thames, the Thames Valley area, and the counties of Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire.

Region 12 covers the whole of East Anglia and the county of Essex

Region 10 covers an extensive area from Wiltshire in the west, to the South Coast counties of Hampshire and East and West Sussex, to Kent in the east, and London (South of the Thames) and Surrey in the north

These are the area’s I’ll be concentrating on within this RSGB page, obviously I cannot cover them all as much as I would like to.
