49th International Amateur Radio Exhibition, that should tell you how successful this show really is, you don’t achieve 49 shows without knowing what you are doing and these guys really do.We go not just for the show but just to spend time in a great place with an Amateur Radio show as a bonus. This year I will be doing three video’s, one for Amateurlogic.Tv, one for my own YouTube channel and a private one for family. So where am I staying?I’m staying at a hotel around a three minute walk from the Harbour (Hafen) and boy do they do a lovely breakfast.Anyway, enough said about our hotel, Friedrichshafen lies to the side of Lake Constance (Bodensee) and if you look across you will see bordering countries like Austria and Switzerland and boy what a great view it is too.
Our Last Visit in 2023

As for the Ham Radio Show itself, it’s a worthwhile event with lots of vendors there like, Yaesu, Icom, Kenwood, Flex and BHI.Also there you have Organisations like RSGB, ARRL, DARC and many other National Radio Clubs. There is a massive indoor flea market (silly terminology) and I suppose you could get absolutely anything there. If you’ve never been before I would seriously recommend a visit. Held late June every year it’s a great event that I cannot praise enough.
