RSGB

The RSGB could be termed as the UK Amateurs Union, it helps protect the Amateur radio spectrum, after all without a spectrum there would be no Amateur radio whatsoever. The RSGB is renowned for selling good quality radio books (yes including all three UK licence manuals), we’re also represented internationally by them, I know full well that they travel to Dayton Hamvention as well as Friedrichshafen in Germany. They also have the EMC Committee who has devised the EMF Calculator (See Below) Please use, this calculation is a licence requirement

The RSGB website needs to be worked on, yes there is a lot on there but sometimes finding something you’re actually looking for can be extremely difficult. With the RSGB membership there are also perks like FREE entry to Bletchley Park (The home of the WW2 codebreakers and Bletchley also incorporates the National Radio Centre which is well worth a visit too. There is also the RSGB Convention held in October that is also well worth a visit (Held in Milton Keynes (not far from Bletchley Park either)
